HOME X-RAYS (X Rays, Radiographs)

New York House Call Physicians: Your Doctor in the Family offers home (portable) x-rays (x rays, radiographs) throughout New York City, Manhattan, Brooklyn, the Bronx, Queens, and Long Island.

In association with Specialty Portable Home X-Ray, New York House Call Physicians: Your Doctor in the Family, performs all kind of portable and home x-rays: chest x-rays; abdominal x-rays; skull x-rays; neck x-rays; spine and low back x-rays; arm and hand x-rays; hip, leg, and foot x-rays.

New York House Call Physicians: Your Doctor in the Family does not offer x-rays in our medical office because the office is not equipped with lead walls required for office x-rays.

Portable home x-rays are safe and of the same quality as office-based x-rays.

New York House Call Physicians: Your Doctor in the Family’s x-ray technicians are experienced in performing portable and home x-rays. New York House Call Physicians: Your Doctor in the Family portable home x-rays are reviewed by board certified radiologists (medical doctors who specialize in reading x-rays and other medical imaging techniques).

Home x-ray technicians do not interpret x-rays and cannot give patients x-ray results immediately after performing the x-ray. X-ray results are available within 24 to 48 hours of performing the home x-ray.

In order to perform a home x-ray, patients must have a prescription from their doctor or a consultation from a doctor of New York House Call Physicians: Your Doctor in the Family. Please review our fees for home x-rays and for physician consultation fees.
