INTRAVENOUS THERAPY

New York House Call Physicians are experienced in intravenous (IV) therapy for vitamin and amino acid supplementation and for conventional medical treatments (e.g. IV antibiotics for infections or IV rehydration for dehydrated patients). New York House Call Physicians are pleased to provide intravenous therapy in your home and at your convenience.

Increasing data suggest that intravenous supplementation of certain vitamins like Vitamin C, B complex Vitamins, Folic Acid, and/or amino acids can help to improve energy levels and reduce the risk of certain cancers (e.g. The Lancet, March 3, 2001;357:657-663).

New York House Call Physicians can also provide conventional intravenous medical and therapeutic treatment for patients having trouble taking medicines orally or who prefer the more rapid and direct benefit of IV treatment.

New York House Call Physicians' protocol for IV treatment involves a thorough medical history, physical examination, and laboratory testing for vitamin and mineral deficiencies. New York House Call Physicians will then provide intravenous therapy tailored to your vitamin levels/deficiencies, risk factors for certain medical ailments, etc.

New York House Call Physicians intravenous therapy treatments take approximately one hour and should occur anywhere from several times weekly to once monthly, depending upon the patient.
